Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and possess the necessary skills to safely climb trees for maintenance, removal, and care. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety while working in various environments.
Duties
- Perform tree climbing operations using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Operate bucket trucks and other machinery as needed for tree maintenance tasks.
- Conduct landscape maintenance including pruning, trimming, and removal of trees.
- Utilize GIS technology for mapping and planning tree care activities.
- Rig branches and limbs safely during removal processes to prevent damage to surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are safe for use.
Qualifications
- DZ required
- Proven experience in tree climbing or related outdoor work is preferred.
- Familiarity with bucket operation and rigging techniques.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to work at heights and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to tree care operations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation of equipment.
