Job Description:
The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Lake Louise Ski Resort’s transportation services, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely movement of guests and employees. This role includes supervising a team of drivers, coordinating shuttle routes, maintaining fleet operations, and upholding excellent customer service standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and support transportation staff, including shuttle drivers and hosts.
- Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of all resort transportation vehicles.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely vehicle inspections and repairs.
- Monitor fuel usage, vehicle logs, and operational costs for efficiency.
- Ensure timely and efficient transportation of guests, staff, and equipment between lodges, parking areas, and base facilities.
- Adjust shuttle routes and schedules as needed based on weather conditions, traffic, and guest volume.
- Provide excellent guest service by addressing concerns and resolving transportation-related issues.
- Enforce all safety regulations and ensure drivers adhere to local, provincial, and federal transportation laws.
- Conduct driver training on safety protocols, winter driving techniques, and customer service.
- Respond to and report transportation incidents, accidents, and road conditions.
- Working hand and hand with the bus company to ensure all buses are on schedule.
Job Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, or resort operations preferred.
- Valid class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record and 3 years claims free history
- Valid class 2 license also considered an asset
- Knowledge of fleet management, scheduling, and winter driving conditions.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Familiarity with the local area, ski resort operations and guest service expectations is a plus.
- Flexible schedule, may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Schedule:
This is a Winter 25/26 season position but we are hiring for an immediate start and employment will continue throughout the Winter season.
5 days on/2 days off
