Tire Technician Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a suitably qualified tire technician with at least two years roadside service. The ideal candidate will be required to have a clean drivers license.
Duties
- Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs on various vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear, damage, or other issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with automotive repairs as needed, leveraging mechanical knowledge.
- Engage in sales activities by recommending tire products and services to customers.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dealership or mechanic environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and tire services.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installations and repairs.
- Experience in automotive repair is a plus but not mandatory.
