As the Technical Assistant, you will:
- Gathers and verifies assessment and tax related data and enters into computer system for assigned property types.
- Perform general office work in connection with realty and business assessment roll production.
- Provide strong customer service.
Your education and qualifications include:
- High school diploma supplemented by post-secondary courses in business administration, commerce, building trades or other related field.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency at a basic level using Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to make accurate mathematical calculations.
- Accurate data entry skills with a demonstrated ability to record accurate and detailed information.
- Good judgement skills demonstrating the ability to assess and capture relevant information.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and set and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing complex or technical information to a diverse client group.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, other employees and the general public.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage conflict and make appropriate conflict management skills.
