The Opportunity:

The Talent Acquisition Process Specialist utilizes their expertise in talent acquisition coordination, human resources operations and HRIS systems to support the team with ongoing risk management, vendor management and project management initiatives to drive strong process adherence and implement solutions. The Talent Acquisition Process Specialist will leverage their strong relationships with both internal and external partners to provide subject matter expertise, contribute to the delivery of complex recruitment campaigns and provide ongoing training and support to the team.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Assist with Talent Acquisition risk management efforts including recommending enhancements and implementing controls
  • Act as a Workday subject matter expert for all talent acquisition related inquiries and troubleshooting while contributing to projects in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Centralized team lead for the vendor invoicing process, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Lead team projects and proactively ideate enhancements that contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the function
  • Engage team through innovative training approaches to champion best practices and support strong adoption
  • Manage talent acquisition team templates and process guides to incorporate ongoing updates
  • Mentor co-op students and provide back-up coverage for HR Coordinator team as required
What We Are Looking For:
  • 3+ years of experience in a talent acquisition coordination or human resources operations function
  • Completion of a university degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience with Workday focused on talent acquisition and/or operations functions
  • Strong technical skills in Excel
  • The following are an asset:
    • Completion of or working towards CHRP/CHRL designation
    • Bilingualism in English and French
    • Exposure to reporting tools such as PowerBI

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Skilled in project management and stakeholder management
  • Experience with training/facilitation and developing detailed job aids and process guides
  • Research capabilities to identify best practices and make recommendations
  • Commitment to process improvement and demonstrated experience with implementing enhancements
  • Ability to balance and prioritize tasks while maintaining appropriate attention to detail and accuracy
