Expedition Expectations
The Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting for Direct Travel. This role will primarily support hiring travel advisor and mid-level roles in Canada and the US, while providing consultative guidance to hiring managers. The TAP will leverage ADP Lyric's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline recruitment processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. This position reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition.
Passport to Success
- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and develop strategic sourcing approaches.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for agent and mid-level roles, emphasizing building strong candidate pipelines.
- Source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other innovative methods.
- Serve as the first point of contact for applicants, maintaining proactive communication via phone and email throughout the recruitment process.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, prepare candidates for interviews, and manage candidate communications.
- Conduct reference checks and support offer processes, background checks, and onboarding coordination.
- Utilize ATS (ADP Lyric) to manage candidate data and streamline workflows.
- Maintain knowledge of Canadian and US employment and hiring laws to ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain quality relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and leverage automation.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures to serve as a resource to internal customers.

Going the Extra Mile
- 4+ years of corporate recruiting experience in fast-paced or high-volume environments.
- Strong consultative skills and the ability to influence and advise hiring managers.
- Highly organized and comfortable in a production-focused role
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably ADP Lyric.
- Knowledge of Canadian and US employment and hiring laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual French/English is ideal.
- Authorized to work in Canada or the US.
