This role will lead work execution within the Utilization portfolio, accountable for the safe and reliable operations of GDS assets downstream of the meter shut-off valve.

What You Will Do
Accountable for meeting targeted service levels for company and customer generated work.
Ensure quality targets are safely achieved for all utilization services work activities.
Accountable for supervising the timely completion of all Utilization compliance and customer work in the Area.
Lead, supervise and develop a team of front-line employees.
Maintain efficiency of employees through effective execution of utilization processes.
Directly supervise unionized field staff to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, including handling employee performance and effective completion of annual work plan.
Provide employees with technical support for field related work.
Responsible for daily collaboration with Work Management to ensure that work and resources are scheduled optimally and implemented according to Utilization direction.
Ensure safe resolution of emergency events during both regular and on call assignments by providing field emergency support, coordination and response as necessary or requested.
Work closely with external partners (MOE, MOL, TSSA, Engineering Firms, Consultants, Developers / Contractors / Builder other Utilities, Municipalities, First-Responders, etc.). to develop, cultivate, and maintain critical external relationships and resolve field issues.
Participate in Incident Investigations as the need arises.
Provide expertise with escalated Infractions - extension, technical questions, HVAC inquiries.
Handle daily requests from Ombudsman / Voice of the Customer, claims, customer complaints/escalations (customer care).
Lead internal QA faults and support Sr. Advisors with escalated / disputed external QA faults.
Understand and ensure accurate execution of contract, utilization work including regular meetings with Alliance Partner to review metrics and work targets.
Support and ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Invoice and cost estimate approvals (financial).
Special projects (integration, Unify, process improvement, etc.).
Who You Are
You will have the following:
Related university degree and a minimum of 7+ experience (Engineering or Operations, preferred) OR 9+ years of previous field operations experience. An equivalent mix of formal education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge and excellent understanding of the business, specifically field Operations work and the systems and processes that support and enable work execution.
Excellent leadership and management capabilities, ability to negotiate and mediate challenging conversations.
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven project management experience and the ability to support multiple initiatives concurrently.
Digital literacy, and a proven understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Maximo.
Working Conditions
Mix of field and office work.
Occasional travel required based on business needs.
After hours on-call rotation.
