We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Supervisor, Mobile Services to provide operational leadership across designated regions. This role is key in supporting the day-to-day management of mobile lab services, leading team members with empathy and clarity, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a safe and inclusive work environment. The ideal candidate brings experience in healthcare or mobile lab settings, strong communication and people leadership skills, and a passion for delivering service excellence in diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support mobile services staff by managing schedules, approving time off, facilitating performance conversations, and overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations within assigned regions, including phlebotomy services, supply chain coordination, and delivery on quality and compliance standards.
- Foster a culture of safety and inclusion, ensuring compliance with internal protocols, regulatory standards, and occupational health and safety practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement organizational initiatives, process improvements, and change management efforts.
- Partner with Human Resources and union representatives to support employee engagement, address concerns, and maintain positive labour relations.
- Drive continuous improvement through the analysis of service reports, customer feedback, and operational metrics.
- Promote a customer-first mindset, providing coaching to team members to support compassionate and respectful care experiences.
- Ensure proper communication across all levels of the team and between internal/external stakeholders to align on priorities and resolve issues proactively.
- Maintain and manage data systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and security of digital records.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required; completion of a laboratory assistant program or related experience is preferred.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in a healthcare, mobile services, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in phlebotomy, mobile/home care, and/or data management is required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation, quality assurance standards, and unionized environments is an asset.
- Proven ability to lead change, influence outcomes, and support employee development within a fast-paced and evolving setting.
