Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spray Services Turf Care Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for applying lawn and hard surface treatments, operating turf care equipment, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in high-quality results, and is committed to safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely apply lawn care products including fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides according to company standards and provincial regulations.
- Perform turf care services such as aeration, slit seeding, and overseeding to promote healthy lawn growth.
- Spray hard surfaces for weed control, ensuring accurate application and minimal environmental impact.
- Operate and maintain spray rigs, spreaders, aerators, and other turf care equipment.
- Calibrate equipment to ensure proper chemical and seed application rates.
- Conduct pre- and post-service inspections of lawns and landscapes to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner, explaining services performed and providing after-care recommendations.
- Maintain accurate service records and comply with all safety protocols.
- Assist with general landscape maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or spray services is an asset (training provided for the right candidate).
- Knowledge of turf care practices and safe pesticide use is preferred.
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good physical condition; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Pesticide applicator license/certification (or willingness to obtain).

Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
