Job Overview
The Specialist, Parts Inventory will primarily focus on accessories, quality and safety campaigns, and new vehicle applications. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory levels, optimizing inventory health, and coordinating logistics for the efficient distribution of port-applied accessories, campaign materials, and promotional applications across our nationwide network of retailers. The incumbent will report to the Manager, Parts Inventory & Logistics and will be based out of Subaru Canada’s head office in Mississauga, ON.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze inventory health and oversee supply chain management for new vehicle accessories across a network of inbound and outbound facilities, including vendor management, to ensure optimum stock levels are maintained.
- Coordinate with inventory planning vendors to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly within a JIT environment for new vehicle accessories application.
- Forecast, procure, and analyze products for all Quality and Safety Campaigns, ensuring healthy inventory levels at SCI's warehouse and within Subaru Canada's nationwide retailer network.
- Research, analyze, forecast, and procure new vehicle parts and accessories, ensuring inventory availability at launch.
- Purchase and monitor logistics for promotional items and materials to be distributed across the retailer network.
- Investigate opportunities to create efficiencies, improve processes and optimize inventory levels.
- Develop reporting to support inventory planning decisions, including seasonal demand.
- Utilize Power BI, Dynamics 365, and MS Office tools to generate key performance indicators, logistics, reporting for specific areas of coverage, identifying areas of improvement, and making data-driven recommendations to management.
- Undertake other duties as required to support team objectives.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or University Degree in supply chain management or a related field with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in inventory management, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and previous experience with Dynamics 365 would be an asset.
- APICS, ACSM, CSCP, CLTD certification preferred.
