Position Summary
Join Karrot as a Social & Community Manager, where you'll be at the heart of growing and energizing our North American community through social channels and in-app events. From crafting engaging social media content to building strategic online influencer partnerships, you'll drive initiatives that connect users, boost engagement, and cultivate brand advocates. You'll have full ownership over your projects, collaborating across teams to bring localized engagement strategies to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Own and grow Karrot’s presence across all social platforms by curating compelling content, launching creative campaigns, and running interactive contests.
- Content Creation: Leverage AI tools to repurpose existing footage into new creative experiments that help fuel our growth engine and streamline our production pipeline.
- Influencer Collaborations: Partner with influencers to drive organic growth and expand Karrot's reach across social platforms.
- Community Engagement: Foster a high level of engagement within our app through weekly events and push notifications.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze metrics to gauge engagement strategies' effectiveness and develop creative solutions based on data to drive growth.
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Marketing or a related field, ideally in e-commerce or marketplace settings. Recruitment, sales, account management experience is a plus.
- A growth mindset with a focus on customer-centricity and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A deep passion for building and nurturing online communities, with a keen interest in leveraging social media platforms for community growth.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, engagement tactics, and content creation.
- Analytical mindset with experience in social media analytics tools.
- Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
