Skilled Labourer/ Swamper
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan
Type: Full Time, Hourly
Doublestar Drilling (DSD) is looking for an experienced, full time Skilled Labourer/Swamper. We are looking for an outgoing, adaptable individual looking to learn and grow within our team and industry. Doublestar has many projects in and around the Regina Area. Please note travel to these sites is a responsibility of the worker. We provide PPE required for the job (you must have your own steel toe boots).
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in exposed weather conditions
- Physical and manual labour, repetitive lifting of 50lbs over the course of the shift
- Operate a tandem axel truck mounted drill rig
- Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with DSD safe work practices, policies and procedures. Ensure PPE is worn at all times
- Participation in all safety meeting and toolbox talks
- Capable of working under numerous and varied job site situations
- Ability to identify hazards
- Must report all incidents, near misses and equipment damage to site supervision
- Ability to operate a laser for appropriate elevations; shoot elevations (concrete)
- Any previous equipment experience is an asset (skid-steer, packer, loader, etc.)
- Must have worked around various pieces of heavy equipment
- Assist with other duties as required
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience working as a labourer in civil construction
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with Q airbrakes (clean abstract) would be beneficial
- Own transportation
- Valid CSTS-2020
- Valid WHMIS 2015 certification
- First Aid

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
