Advantage Excavating Services Ltd is a excavation company located in Salmon Arm, BC.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled labourer or pipe layer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge working around heavy equipment. Running a grade laser. Willing to work outside in all weather conditions is a must. Previous pipe laying experience considered an asset. The current work is located in Revelstoke. Out of town work and travel will be required. Own transportation and clean drivers abstract required. On call snow plowing work possible for the right person.
Wage depending on experience.
**Duties:**
- Perform general labour tasks under the guidance of the supervisor
- Assist with the setup and clean-ups of work sites
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow instructions to ensure safety and meet project requirements
- Complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a skilled labourer in excavation or a similar field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints an asset
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment and alone
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in a construction setting
*Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):*
- Experience operating heavy machinery
