Job Overview
We are seeking a Site Supervisor to lead on-site abatement operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard. You will oversee crews (including temporary staff), coordinate site logistics, manage documentation, and report to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate abatement work (asbestos, mould, biohazard, debris removal, property deconstruction).
- Enforce health & safety protocols and conduct daily hazard assessments and weekly toolbox meetings.
- Organize the jobsite and crew to meet schedule and quality requirements.
- Complete and manage site paperwork, permits, and reports.
- Supervise, train, and support staff and temporary workers.
- Communicate with clients and project stakeholders regarding progress and issues.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Comfortable using mobile apps and basic office software
Preferred
- Asbestos Abatement Ticket
- TDG Certificate
- First Aid certification
- Supervisory experience in construction or hazardous materials abatement
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs, move contents, and stand for extended periods
