Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Certified General Contractor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and perform a variety of construction and renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Projects may include residential renovations, commercial build-outs, and new construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction and renovation projects from start to finish
- Perform skilled work such as carpentry, framing, drywall, flooring, and finishing
- Hire, supervise, and coordinate subcontractors and trades as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
- Maintain accurate project timelines, budgets, and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Requirements:
- Must be certified to operate as a general contractor in Ontario
- Proven experience as a general contractor or in a senior construction role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with both residential and commercial projects
- Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable building practices
- Strong supplier and subcontractor network
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time or part-time positions available
- Competitive pay based on experience, with opportunities for bonuses

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
