Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with various tools and equipment used in manufacturing and assembly.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly of products
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks, performing basic maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving, storing, and tracking materials.
Experience
- Previous experience in a shop is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues is an asset.
