Position Overview
We are looking for a Sheet Metal / Cladding / Metal Roofing Installer with 5+ years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working both independently and within a team. This is a hands-on role that demands a high level of precision and safety awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Install various sheet metal systems including cladding, flashing, siding, and architectural panels
- Perform metal roofing installation including standing seam and other commercial/industrial systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and building code standards
- Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors to ensure smooth project flow
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal, cladding, or metal roofing installation
- Strong understanding of construction and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions
- Own tools and valid driver's license are assets
