Role Description
We are hiring Sheet Metal Journeymen & Apprentices to work on multiple projects inside our production facility. These roles are to support our Friday to Sunday shift.
Duties:
- Installing ducting according to specifications and blueprints
- Installing various types of equipment such as furnaces, HRV'S, and ERV'S
- Repair or replace defective equipment or components
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient installation
Required Experience:
- Journeyman or apprentice
- Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Installer or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to fabricate and program HVAC systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Location:
This role is plant based at our 135,000 square feet manufacturing facility 20 minutes North of Calgary in Crossfield, Alberta, strategically located near a High Load Corridor which allows us to transport loads up to 9 meters high to many parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and the United States. Our employees live in Calgary, Airdrie and surrounding communities.
