Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Shawarma Cook. This position is essential to ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in various aspects of food preparation, cooking, and serving. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and marinate meats (chicken, beef, lamb, etc.) according to recipes and standards.
- Skewer, stack, and set up shawarma on rotisserie equipment.
- Monitor, grill, and carve meat to ensure proper cooking, tenderness, and flavor.
- Prepare sauces, toppings, and accompaniments (garlic sauce, tahini, pickles, salads, etc.).
- Assemble shawarma wraps, plates, and platters with speed, accuracy, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and work area at all times.
- Ensure food safety and proper storage of ingredients.
- Monitor inventory and inform management when supplies are running low.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards consistently.
- Provide excellent customer service when serving or handling special requests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Shawarma Maker, Cook, or in Middle Eastern cuisine preferred.
- Strong knowledge of marination, grilling, and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
- Attention to detail and consistency in food preparation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
