Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Preparing guest beverages as per standards and serving.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Work days, nights and late nights on weekends.
- Flexible on weekdays and must be available on weekends.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in Casual Dinning environment.
- Alcoholic beverage knowledge is advantageous for understanding menu items.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
