Duties
- Greet customers warmly and present menus, providing recommendations as needed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction and address any needs or concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for checks.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and restaurant policies.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and preparation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service and addressing any inquiries or complaints effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately, including cash handling.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial for understanding menu items.
- Ability to work weekends, and holidays as needed.
