Job Title: SEO Specialist
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute SEO project tasks according to timelines and priorities
- Analyze website performance data using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush
- Optimize website content including titles, meta descriptions, and headers
- Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies
- Conduct keyword research to support content and optimization efforts
- Collaborate with content creators and developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across the site
- Provide actionable recommendations on site structure and internal linking
- Maintain and improve performance of Google Business Profiles
- Stay up to date with industry trends and evolving best practices
- Contribute to strategic client discussions and marketing initiatives
- Prepare and present SEO performance reports
- Identify and scope potential new SEO projects
- Assist with additional marketing tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on SEO experience
- Post-secondary education in marketing or a related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with reporting tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush)
- Solid content editing experience using WordPress
- Strong understanding of current SEO and PPC tools and practices
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong eye for content quality and visual design
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency with tools like Canva or Photoshop is an asset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
- Experience with business development-style relationships (e.g. co-marketing, co-selling)
- Ability to plan and maintain a content schedule for websites and Google Business Profiles
