SEO Manager – Gaming Industry
Are you passionate about gaming and driven to elevate online visibility through smart, data-driven SEO?
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on SEO Manager to lead the organic growth of our gaming platforms. This role is central to increasing our search engine presence, driving high-quality traffic, and converting engaged players across our digital properties.
You'll take ownership of our SEO strategy and execution, from technical audits to content optimization to competitive analysis. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand the nuances of gaming audiences, this is your chance to shape our search strategy at scale.
What You’ll Do
  • Own and implement end-to-end SEO strategies to drive growth in rankings, traffic, and conversions across multiple gaming properties.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, developers, and marketing stakeholders to embed SEO best practices into content, UX, and site architecture.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, content mapping, and competitive analysis to inform page builds, blog strategy, and product visibility.
  • Lead technical SEO audits, focusing on site speed, crawlability, indexing, mobile optimization, structured data, and internal linking.
  • Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, URLs, image alt text, and schema markup.
  • Analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to track KPIs and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of algorithm updates and industry shifts-constantly iterating on strategy to maintain top SERP positions.
  • Report on SEO performance regularly with actionable insights and clear recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support backlink strategies through coordination with outreach specialists and content teams to build authority across domains.
  • Who You Are
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally within a digital-first or gaming-focused company.
  • Deep understanding of SEO fundamentals (technical, on-page, off-page) and proven success in growing organic traffic at scale.
  • Strong command of SEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO, etc.
  • Proficient in CMS platforms like WordPress; working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and page speed optimization.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into growth opportunities and actionable next steps.
  • Familiar with content frameworks and able to brief or edit writers with SEO impact in mind.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Passionate about gaming and informed about the latest trends, titles, communities, and audience behaviors.
Bonus Points For
  • Experience in gaming, iGaming, or betting verticals, particularly in U.S. or highly competitive markets.
  • Exposure to large-scale websites (100k+ pages) and advanced SEO scaling techniques.
  • Familiarity with black-hat SEO history, grey-hat tactics, and how to ethically outperform in competitive niches.
  • Google Analytics Certification or equivalent.
  • Agency background or experience juggling multiple SEO campaigns across different brands or markets.
Why Apply?
Our client is a rapidly growing digital entertainment company shaping the future of gaming experiences. Their culture is collaborative, fast-moving, and built for innovators who want real impact. You'll work alongside industry veterans, content creators, developers, and marketers to bring engaging experiences to millions of players.
