Position Overview
Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role is responsible for reviewing account reconciliations, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to provide insightful analysis that supports management decision-making.
Responsibilities Include

Review and approve monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

Support the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entry review and variance analysis.

Identify and investigate discrepancies, errors, or unusual transactions, and recommend corrective actions.

Develop and maintain financial reporting schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.

Assist in the implementation and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects, including system enhancements, process improvements, and financial modeling as required.
What We Look for in You
Must-Haves
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA designation (or CFE qualified and actively pursuing CPA designation).

4–6 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally in public accounting and/or corporate finance.

Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAGE Intacct preferred).

Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Haves

Experience supporting internal/external audits.

Exposure to process improvements or system enhancements within finance teams.
