We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support our financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in accounting analysis, cost analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and performance evaluation to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to budget/forecast.
- Assist in the development of the annual budget and long-term financial plans.
Cost Analysis & Manufacturing Performance:
- Analyze production costs, raw materials, and overhead expenses to support cost control initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate inventory valuations, standard costing, and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting.
- Partner with production and operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Business Support & Decision-Making:
- Support plant management with financial data and KPIs for operational decisions.
- Conduct capital expenditure analysis and ROI evaluations for new machinery or process improvements.
- Analyze pricing strategies and their impact on profit margins.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Maintain financial models and dashboards to track key business metrics.
- Ensure the accuracy of data within ERP systems.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested by senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- CPA, CFA, or working toward certification is a strong asset.
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of GL accounting, month ends, cost accounting and manufacturing operations.
- Proficient in Excel, and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High degree of integrity.
Work Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with occasional visits to manufacturing floor.
- Full-time, permanent position with standard working hours; some flexibility may be required for month-end or project deadlines.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
