The Senior Cloud Security Analyst will be part of our Information Security team as the go-to expert for securing our cloud and SaaS environment. This role will help shape our security posture, work with modern tools, and partner with IT, development, and SOC teams to identify and close gaps. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll make a visible difference in how we protect our business.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Operate and optimize cloud security posture tools (e.g. CSPM) to detect misconfigurations and guide remediation.
- Help secure SaaS platforms through SaaS security posture tools (e.g. SSPM), policy enforcement, integration governance, and access controls.
- Perform gap and risk assessments across cloud and SaaS environments, recommending and tracking fixes.
- Configure and maintain cloud-based security controls (e.g., firewalls, WAF, conditional access) to protect systems and data.
- Support application security testing in the development lifecycle and help translate results into actionable outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to SOC and incident teams, providing context and technical guidance during cloud/SaaS events.
- Assist with incident playbook creation and tuning alerts for effective detection and response.
- Align security activities with industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS) and contribute to risk tracking and exception management.
- Provide supporting evidence for audits and feed lessons learned into improved security controls.
- Support the onboarding and integration of new cloud security tools with our monitoring and automation platforms.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
- 5–8 years of experience in information security, including at least 3 years focused on cloud or SaaS security.
- Practical experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM), SaaS security, or network/application security controls.
- Solid understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001, with the ability to align technical initiatives to compliance and governance standards.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, with strong collaboration skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and contributing to the development of a maturing security program.
- Relevant certifications such as ISC² CCSP (strongly preferred) or CISSP (preferred), and Microsoft certifications like Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Identity and Access Administrator Associate are valued. Additional certifications such as GCSA, GPEN, eCPPT, or OSCP are a plus, particularly for candidates with application security testing experience.
