The Time and Attendance Coordinator plays an essential role in growing talent in our business through collaboration and sharing best practices with the Ballistics team. They support the administration of hourly timecards, time-off requests, and the collection and tracking of individual production numbers for targets and bonuses.

Reporting to the Room Manager, the Time and Attendance Coordinator will be expected to submit the daily attendance and bonus information to the highest standards while maintaining Lush’s ethics and confidentiality standards. You will also undertake the following responsibilities.
What you do (responsibilities):
- Regularly confirm attendance of staff to ensure everyone is accounted for
- Check the Ballistics sick email to report anyone who has called in absent
- Contact late/absent staff to attain and document reasons for missing work as needed
- Track and document staff working hours throughout the day and obtain authorization by a member of management for missed hours as needed
- Calculate and submit extra hours for overtime during peak times of the year
- Collaborate with room leadership to correctly submit daily bonuses for the department
- Administer ADP (payroll software) to ensure employee timecards are entered correctly and approved to meet pay-period deadlines.
- Monitor absences and ensure employees are utilizing the appropriate requests (well-being, bereavement, vacation, et al) as needed in accordance with Lush policy
- Identify recurring attendance issues and escalate concerns to the department Leadership
- Conduct Return-to-Work (RTW) forms for all production workers and ensure staff fill out correct information
- Collaborate with Lush payroll, finance and other departments as needed
- Assist staff with vacation and time off requests and help ensure they are properly logged
- Monitor staff vacation requests against their available hours and notify leadership of any discrepancies
Who you are (qualifications):
Required:
- Current Lush Employee
- Intermediate proficiency in word processing and use of spreadsheets (MS Excel, Word and Google Suite)
- Proven experience in data collection, entry, and reporting, showcasing exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills
- Confident with mathematics, including addition, subtraction, division and multiplication
- Ability to multitask and delegate effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships in a manufacturing environment
- Collaborative and flexible team player with a strong focus on teamwork and cooperation
Preferred:
- Currently working in either the Ballistics or Gifts department, respectively
- Basic knowledge of accounting
- Scheduling/processing experience
