Highlights:
The Iceman is looking for an experienced and reliable DZ licensed driver to work from our Vaughan location and deliver packaged ice throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
5 Day Shift: 7 am to 3 pm Wednesday to Sunday
Pay: $25.50 per hour
Driver Duties
- Assist in loading of truck, verify paperwork and conduct safety inspection
- Deliver order via the most efficient route and document delivery
- Provide effective customer service and communicate effectively with the dispatcher
- Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and comply with all company policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario “DZ” Driver’s License
- Must have at least three years commercial DZ truck driving experience
- Provide a copy of a recent and clean driving record (i.e., no major violations) and a CVOR driver abstract (no losses within the last 3 years); must also pass an annual driver check
- Complete an insurance company driver profile questionnaire to be reviewed and approved by our insurance company
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 23 kg (50 pounds) consistently
- Superior customer service skills
- Proficient in English and able to follow instructions and written procedures
- Delivery driving experience is an asset
