OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Seasonal Retail Store Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service through effective communication and product knowledge. You will assist customers in finding the right products, answer their inquiries, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
THE ROLE
Must have the availability to work the following full shifts is required for this role: Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This schedule includes two rotational days off per week.
Anticipated start date: September 26, 2025.
The anticipated end date for this seasonal role will be confirmed but is expected to be on or around January 6, 2026
DUTIES
Sales
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features.
- Stay informed about current cooking trends to provide knowledgeable assistance.
- Advise customers on use and care of merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products.
- Assist customers with inquiries via phone, online or in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Cashier
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately and efficient.
- Conduct online sales transactions.
- Utilize basic math skills to process transactions and manage cash handling responsibilities.
Merchandising & Stock Management
- Keep the sales floor organized and visually appealing by restocking merchandise and maintaining displays.
- Restock and organize merchandise on the sales floor.
General & Operational
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
REQUIREMENTS
- MUST have the availability to work rotational full shifts as needed, including weekdays and weekends.
- A strong willingness to learn about retail and the kitchen industry is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
PREFERED SKILLS
- Previous experience in retail, customer service or the kitchen industry is preferred but not required.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.
