We are a busy cabinet shop in Blackfalds seeking an applicant to working full-time in our sanding booth. Duties include sanding various items with a random orbital sander, inspecting and repairing deficiencies in product, assembling two piece doors, and general clean-up.
Any skill level considered, wage dependent on skill level.
If the applicant shows promise and is willing to learn the other aspects of working in a cabinet shop there is opportunity to cross-train.
Job responsibilities would vary depending on skills of applicants and required workload at the time. These include but are not limited to
-Table saw operation
-Sanding
-Box Building
-Custom Work
-Cabinet Door production
-laminate, solid surface, thinscape, counter production
-use of all tools suchs as CNC, jointer, planer, overhead sander, beam saw, rip saw, panel press, moulders, shapers, sliding table saws etc...
Applicants must be capable of liting heavy loads, be able to stand for long periods of time
Regular hours of operation are monday - thursday 7am-5pm, friday 7am-1pm
