Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a strong understanding of cabinet fabrication techniques. This role involves creating high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces, ensuring precision and craftsmanship in every project. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with designers and clients to bring their visions to life while adhering to project specifications and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate cabinets and furniture according to design specifications using various materials.
- Operate power tools, CNC machines, and other woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to create components for cabinets.
- Assemble cabinet parts with precision, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in woodworking or carpentry.
- Proficiency in using power tools, CNC machinery, and woodworking equipment.
- Knowledge of materials used in cabinet making, including wood types and finishes.
- Familiarity with construction methods such as siding, drywall installation, flooring installation, masonry, and concrete forming is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks.
- A commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per year
