We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and restoration by using sandblasting techniques. This role requires attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Sandblaster will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes for commercial projects.
Duties
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, strip, or prepare surfaces for painting
- Ensure proper setup and maintenance of sandblasting machines and tools.
- Select appropriate materials and techniques based on the specific project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively in conjunction with sandblasting tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial painting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to sandblasting and surface preparation.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
