When you volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society you have real impact. It takes all of us to take on cancer. Volunteer with us at one of our signature events in your community on event day. You can choose a specific role and shift(s) based on availability. You can also assist us when we need event support on an on-call basis in your own community.
Description
The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.
This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Use of own bike- Ride in front to lead participants on the 5km route
- Ride behind the last walkers to ensure no one gets lost or hurt
- If additional cyclists, ensure sweep route upon arrival back to the site to ensure no one was left behind.
Why we need you
It is the largest single-day, volunteer-led event in Canada in support of the breast cancer cause.

Your commitment
Availability on event day - Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 9AM - 1PM. The end time of the shift may occur earlier than scheduled.
