We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Route Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a designated route, delivering products to customers, and ensuring exceptional service. You will play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers along an assigned route in a timely and efficient manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Upsell additional products and services during each visit to maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels on your route, ensuring that stock is replenished as needed.
- Collect cheques and maintain accurate records of sales and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding product pricing, promotions, and new offerings.
- Perform heavy lifting frequently (30-50lbs) when loading and unloading products from the vehicle.
- Merchandise products in stores
- Adhere to all safety regulations while driving and handling products.
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills to manage routes and customer accounts efficiently.
- Sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Ability to use a handheld POS (Point of Sale) sales system.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
- Valid G driving license.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Proficient math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory accurately.
- Strong communication skills to convey product information clearly to customers.
