With a comprehensive cocktail program, extensive wine list, and a vibrant piano bar, The Berczy has become a cornerstone in Old Toronto's dining scene.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated Service Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service that upholds the Berczy's standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Organize staffing schedules using PUSH, update daily labour projections and make necessary staffing adjustments based on business needs.
- Recruit, interview and hire new team members; oversee onboarding, training and development.
- Actively engage with guests on the restaurant floor, addressing any concerns or inquiries and ensuring their complete satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless execution of menu offerings and to maintain consistency in quality and presentation.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, placing orders as needed, and managing vendor relationships.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize guest satisfaction, drive repeat business, and increase revenue.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, company policies, and local laws.
- Continuously assess and improve service standards and staff performance through regular feedback, training, and coaching.
- Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure the highest level of service is consistently delivered.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
