Champion Chevrolet is now seeking a receptionist /Admin position to serve our customers in a friendly and professional manner. If you have a friendly personality, multitasking skills, accounting experience and a positive attitude then this job is for you! This is part-time position and is Monday to Friday from 8am-1pm.
An office assistant supports the accounting department by handling clerical tasks, such as phone calls, filing, reception, paperwork, fact-checking and basic bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, computer skills and accounting skills.
Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
- Serves customers by answering phones, greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately in a friendly manner
- Dealing with Accounts receivables and payables
- General office duties
- Directs customers to the appropriate department directories.
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Organizing and other odd jobs
- Providing support to the accounting department
- Performs basic office tasks such as data entry, filing, answering phones, bank deposits and emails
- Handling Communications with clients and vendors via phone, email and in-person
- Processing transactions, issuing checks
- Assisting with audits, fact checks and resolving discrepancies
Receptionist Qualifications / Skills:
- Telephone Skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Accounting experience is an asset and would be preferred
- Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and cheerful
- Good listener
- Professionalism and a strong ethical code
- Good customer relations
- Must be very organized
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
