The mission of the Real Estate Development Creative Design Team is to develop the creative vision and design of our world class physical environments.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a member of the Real Estate Development Team, you will be part of the team responsible for driving the execution of Aritzia’s spaces throughout the Design and Technical phases. The Director, Creative Store Design is responsible for leading the end-to-end design execution of in-line retail projects, ensuring the work is aligned with Aritzia’s creative vision and meets the highest standards of quality and consistency. This role provides leadership to a team of designers and technical developers, while also overseeing the integration of cross-functional expertise into projects. As the project design lead, the Director plays a key role in ensuring the project is creatively ambitious, technically sound, and functionally deliverable—bridging creative excellence with operational reality. THE ROLE
As the Director, Creative Store Design, you will lead the team to:
Manage the development and delivery of projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
Provide the strategic foundation and technical excellence that enable the consistent, compliant, and coordinated delivery of all projects.
Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Director, Creative Store Design, has:
Proven and best-in-class skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings
A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team

THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000–$200,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
