Real Estate Assistant Position Overview
We are a team of property investors seeking a highly organized and motivated Real Estate Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our real estate operations by assisting with property showings, handling administrative paperwork, conducting market research, and coordinating lease agreements. This role is well-suited for someone detail-oriented, personable, and interested in the real estate industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Property Showings & Client Support
- Coordinate and conduct property showings with prospective tenants and buyers.
- Answer client inquiries and provide detailed property information.
- Assist agents in scheduling and organizing client appointments.
- Administrative & Paperwork
- Prepare and process contracts, leases, and related documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and property files.
- Support compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Market Research & Reporting
- Conduct research on property values, neighborhood trends, and market conditions.
- Prepare comparative market analyses (CMAs) and summary reports for agents.
- Track and update listings, price changes, and property availability.
- Transaction Coordination
- Assist with lease signings, renewals, and closing documents.
- Liaise between landlords, tenants, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth transactions.
- Monitor timelines and deadlines for deals in progress.
- General Office Support
- Answer phones, manage correspondence, and maintain calendars.
- Support marketing initiatives, including online listings and social media updates.
- Provide additional assistance to real estate agents and management as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in real estate, property management, or administrative support (an asset but not required).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Google Suite, and real estate listing platforms (MLS, Zillow, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
