Level of Formal Education & Experience
- Graduate of an approved Radiological Technology Program (Nuclear Medicine, Radiotherapy or Radiography) or university degree majoring in Physics or other directly related discipline as determined by CancerCare Manitoba
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in in radiation protection, exercising radiation protection principles, and comprehensive expertise in X-ray quality assurance.
- Proficient with MS Word/Excel/Outlook and internet use
- Ability to perform physical activities, such as pushing and pulling of carts
- Ability to travel to other facilities up to 30% of the time
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license
- Must have a satisfactory employment record
- Must be able to legally work in Canada
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, customer service and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English comprehension with both written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to stressful work situations
