Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Quality Control Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory practices and quality control processes. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines. The Quality Control Associate will utilize various analytical techniques, including spectroscopy, chromatography, and microscopy, to conduct thorough testing and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using techniques such as wet chemistry, gas chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, and spectrophotometry.
- Maintain accurate records of all tests performed and results obtained in accordance with GLP standards.
- Conduct calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Utilize laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data entry and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods to improve testing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP practices within the laboratory environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous laboratory experience in a quality control role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in analytical chemistry techniques including spectroscopy, chromatography (HPLC & GC), microscopy, and wet chemistry methods.
- Familiarity with GLP, FDA regulations, and CGMP guidelines is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
