Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a thorough understanding of property management practices. This role requires effective communication and negotiation skills to maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders while ensuring the properties are well-maintained and profitable.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, leasing agreements, and maintenance coordination.
- Develop and implement property management strategies to enhance occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements.
- Handle tenant inquiries and complaints promptly, maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors for services such as maintenance, landscaping, and security.
- Maintain accurate records of property activities, including data entry into property management software (Spectra or similar).
- Oversee administrative tasks related to leasing, renewals, and evictions as necessary.
- Prepare property Budgets, monthly reports tracking costs, annual reconciliations and maintain tenant files.
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
- Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks including data entry and office management.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required for effective tenant interaction.
- A background in sales or marketing within the real estate sector is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Property management: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- registration with MB Security Commission (preferred)
- CPM, RPM or equivalent (preferred)
