The Opportunity
Veyron (a real estate developer specializing in luxury residential and hospitality), is searching for an exceptionally talented Project Manager to join our team and assist us in developing world-class product. As Project Manager, you are highly detail-oriented with a passion and perseverance towards executing multi-residential development projects on time and on budget. Bringing a process-mindset and strong business acumen, you have the ability to manage multiple projects in various phases in the development cycle.
Essential Functions
- Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including review, coordinate and design and tender various aspects of new and existing development projects.
- Tasks range from architectural design, consultant coordination, design conformance review, project budgeting, project scheduling and onsite work.
- Coordinating mechanical, structural, and interior finishes to ensure a job runs smooth during construction phases.
- Support and coordinate on site team during construction as well as develop new designs for new projects.
- Managing and monitoring schedules and risks, to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Monitor, interpret and forecast a project's cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain positive cash flow.
- Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team's ongoing development and progression. Meet with consultants and can professionally communicate concerns and best interests of the company.
- Develop continuous improvement practices.
- The work environment will include both office and remote work environments, including site visits.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience of project management experience (construction projects) including tracking and planning multiple projects.
- 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Science or related field an asset.
- Licensed with a Canadian Engineering Organization and have or be eligible for PEO licensing considered an asset
- Working knowledge/proficiency: Project Management Methodology (PMP accreditation is an asset)
- Experience with Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Proven track record of success in previous projects and managing large construction budgets $50M+
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in presenting to key stakeholders and/or Senior leadership.
- Strong leadership skills to coordinate and motivate project teams.
- Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities.
- Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs.

Pay: $120,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
