WORK WITH US
To support the participants in Metro Community Living (MCL) Small Option Home (SOH) program by providing leadership to, and collaborating with, MCL’s direct support teams to ensure service excellence. This includes –but is not limited to–fostering positive community relationships, active community engagement, support opportunities for social inclusion, life skills development and assistance with activities of daily living.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
MCL has been empowering individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as mental illness, to actualize their goals and pursue their interests in Nova Scotian communities for over 30 years. MCL’s teams strive to be leaders in the disability support sector and strong collaborators with the Department of Community Services (DCS).
● Participant planning and active support – to MCLs participants and their direct support teams.
● Human resource management – providing leadership and supervision to MCL’s direct support teams.
● Operations – ensure that participants' environments are in accordance with MCL’s program standards as well as DCS licensing standards, health, fire, and safety regulations.
● Administration – following MCL’s standard operating procedures to support MCL’s program functions. Writing of annual and quarterly reports.
