The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of restaurant experience in food prep and customer service, enjoy working in a busy environment and be able to take direct instruction. The experienced Server is responsible for supervising other servers and assisting in the efficient running of the restaurant. Proficiency in English is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Work the dining room floor to ensure that customers are being served with a good experience.
- Ensure that all food is prepared properly and correct any mistakes that occur in the kitchen.
- Perform the duties of runners and bussers during their shift.
- Manage the wait staff to meet service and productivity standards.
- Follow all health codes, regulations, and policies.
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy atmosphere.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Ensure food service and quality control
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, sales and wastage
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
- Have positive energy to working environment and excellent customer service skills
