Position Overview
Our client Dunrobin Distileries is looking for a Production Assistant. In their distillery, you will play a vital role in the creation of our premium spirits.
In this role, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the distillery, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include preparing ingredients, monitoring fermentation and distillation processes, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the intricacies of spirit production, including the importance of quality control and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and handling of raw materials, including grains, fruits, and botanicals, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Support the distillation process by monitoring equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety protocols.
- Help with the fermentation process, including measuring ingredients and monitoring fermentation conditions.
- Participate in the bottling and labeling process, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and materials needed for production.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the distillery operations.
