Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing purchase orders to replenish products ensuring maximum cost effectiveness.
- Work closely with the leadership team to implement and maintain purchasing strategies.
- Provide concise and accurate administration of purchase orders and/or other required documents involved with the procurement process.
- Filing and sending shipping documents to customs broker.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding details of purchase orders and updates of shipments/productions.
- Consolidate pricing with suppliers and keep up to date on new supply sources.
- Address concerns with suppliers and escalate as required.
- Monthly reporting of procurement related activities.
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
- Ability to work cooperatively with internal customers, suppliers, and management
- Computer proficiency and good working knowledge of MS Office
- Must be able to multitask and work with tight timelines
- Knowledge of Tableau and/or Power Bi is an asset
- Mandarin speaking is an asset
