We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and ensuring that all meals are prepared to perfection, maintaining the standards of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to our established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to a well-rounded kitchen operation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management for timely replenishment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen, ensuring a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling techniques and safety practices is essential.
- Familiarity with meal preparation processes and cooking methods specific to pizza is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
