Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Sitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care for pets while their owners are away. This position requires a love for animals, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle various tasks related to pet care. As a Pet Sitter, you will ensure that pets receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need.
Duties
- Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets by managing waste and cleaning up after them.
- Engage in playtime and exercise to keep pets active and healthy.
- Monitor the behavior and health of pets, reporting any concerns to the pet owners.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's well-being and any issues that may arise.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving large pet supplies or assisting with larger animals.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while providing excellent customer service to pet owners.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for larger pets or supplies.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
- Reliable transportation to travel between client locations as necessary.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate various client needs.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Experience:
- Pet care: 1 year (preferred)
