What You Will Do:
As a valued member of our care team, you will provide meaningful, client-centered support that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life through:
- Provide personal care such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and hygiene while maintaining client dignity and comfort.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks including laundry, dishes, tidying, and meal preparation.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or shopping and provide support throughout outings.
- Offer meaningful companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and improve overall wellbeing.
- Assist with safe mobility, including transfers, walking support, and positioning.
- Follow individualized care plans and promptly report any changes in client condition to the care team.
- Support clients with cognitive challenges using patience, redirection, and familiar routines.Build trusting relationships with clients and their families by being a reliable, kind, and attentive presence.
- Encourage client independence and participation in daily routines whenever possible.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in caregiving, home care, or personal support work
- Must speak Greek
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification from a recognized college is considered a strong asset
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is considered an asset
- Must be able to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening and a negative TB test upon hire
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is considered an asset
- Must be available for a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends
