Responsibilities:
Our Housekeeping/Laundry Aides perform cleaning operations designed to keep the Home in a clean, neat and tidy condition at all times and in accordance with established preventative maintenance and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, dusting, mopping cleaning walls/floors/windows/doors, maintaining carpets, cleaning resident living corridors and washrooms, all while working in a manner and with the protective devices, measures and procedures required by the County of Elgin and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.

- Competitive compensation - $27.11 to $27.56/hr (2024) with 14% in lieu of benefits and 4% vacation pay, paid each pay.

- Experience in institutional housekeeping preferred
- Successful completion of a police record check with vulnerable sector clearance.
